A relaxed, yet focussed 25-minute photoshoot in a beautiful, styled home. It’s designed to give you a set of on-brand photos you’ll actually use – without the cost or time needed for the full brand photography treatment.

The space is absolutely gorgeous. It has a bright atrium-style kitchen with beautiful natural light, huge windows, and a few clean wall areas that work well for simple headshot-style portraits. There are also spots that suit more lifestyle and working images, plus a large garden if you’d like a natural backdrop.

Because everything is in one location, we can create a range of images within 25 minutes without losing time moving between places.

During the session

ON THE DAY

You’ll be welcomed by a creative team ready to make this the easiest photoshoot you’ve ever had. The vibe is creative, supportive and fun.

Then your 25-minute session with me, which includes:

A gorgeous location with multiple backgrounds for variety in your photos

Natural guidance – I’ll gently direct you into poses that feel comfortable and authentic

Behind-the-scenes clips captured by my assistant (bonus content for your socials)

After the session

YOUR GALLERY

Within a fortnight, you’ll receive your private online gallery with at least 20 professionally edited images to choose from. You’ll select your 5 favourites and add more if you love them (I think you will!)

Hi, I’m Emma – your visibility wingwoman

I’m a personal brand photographer who delights in creating vibrant and authentic brand photography for creative women who are making a difference.

With more than 11 years experience behind the camera, I know how to create a relaxed and enjoyable photography experience. I also bring strategic tools from my time working in journalism and charity comms, as well as more than a decade running my own business.

GOT SOME QUESTIONS?

We’re back in the Highgate home for this one – a versatile and beautiful spot, a short walk from the Tube. You’ll get the full address when your booking is confirmed.

It’s a 25-minute session, as long as you arrive on time. If we start late we won’t be able to rollover to avoid eating into the next slot.

You’ll pay a booking fee of £162.50 up front to secure your slot (via my secure booking site) and the rest is due 7 days before the session (the balance will be adjusted if you have a coupon).

Sometimes life happens. Please see my Mini Sessions Cancellation Policy for full details. It’s all laid out there so you know exactly where you stand if plans change.

Don’t worry. I’ll send you a guide as soon as you book. You’ll be supported all the way, so you can turn up feeling confident and ready, and get the best from your session.

I’ve worked with SO many people who say they feel stiff or self-conscious in front of the camera, and none of that shows in the final images. I’ll talk you through everything, keep things moving, and give you direction so you’re not left wondering what to do with your hands. You’ll get photos that look natural and confident – just how you want to be seen.

A fortnight after the session – a quick turnaround so you can start using your images while the momentum’s still there.

You can use them across your website, socials, marketing, press – wherever you need them. There are few things that are off-limits for copyright reasons: the main ones being you can’t resell the photos, and you can’t make them publicly available for download.

No, it’s so much more! Headshots are typically head and shoulders against a plain background, looking at the camera. This is about getting a variety of expressive images – warm, professional headshots, yes, but also photos that communicate different aspects of your brand and personality. You’ll have photos you can use in all kinds of situations and posts, not just the one safe shot to use everywhere.

If you’ve got a business pal who’d also like a session, let me know (I have a special price for referrals). Otherwise, it’s just us, so we can focus entirely on getting you the photos you need.

My assistant will be shooting short video clips during the session – for my socials and yours. I’ll send them to you afterwards so you’ve got extra content to share.

Props are encouraged – they can really help bring your images in line with your brand. I go into this in the prep guide so you’ve got plenty of ideas and know what’ll work.

Argh, however well-organised I am, sometimes there are just those kinds of days, where the universe conspires to make me late. If this happens to you, you have my full sympathy! However, there’s not much wiggle room in the schedule so we might have to shorten the session to keep things on track. Just give me a heads-up if you can.

You’ll see all the good ones! I’ll have already removed all the duplicates, blinks, double chins etc, so what you’re choosing from is the best of the session. It saves you time and means you don’t have to choose between a mountain of near-identical shots.

Modern cameras are super sharp, so I usually add a touch of softening, and I’ll edit out any blemishes that are obviously temporary – spots, that sort of thing. More in-depth retouching can be requested, but it might incur extra charges. I use light and angles to show you at your best. I don’t believe in airbrushing out any sign of ageing or ‘imperfection’ – you’ll look like you, at your most relaxed, confident and vibrant.

As an experienced brand photographer shooting for as much variety as possible, I’m confident you’re going to love the results. But in the unlikely event that that you really don’t like any of them, we’ll work together to identify the problem and find a solution, such as a credit for a future session. You won’t be stuck with images you hate.

This session is for individuals. If you’re after a team shoot, please get in touch and we can talk through what that would look like. It’s a different brief, and I’d want to make sure we’ve got the time and set-up to do it properly.

To keep this accessible we’re not including makeup this time. I’ll give some advice on doing your own in the prep guide – and I’m always on hand if you have any questions about that before the day.
