Relaxed, professional brand portraits in 25 minutes

Mini brand sessions are a simple way to get a small set of strategic brand photographs without booking a full personal brand session.
They’re designed for creative and purpose-led and founders who want images that feel natural, polished and personality-led… not stiff, generic or overdone.

Before we shoot, you’ll fill in a short brand questionnaire so I can get a feel for your business, what you need the images for, and how you want to come across. That means even in 25 minutes, we can create a varied set of photographs that feel considered and genuinely useful.

Whether you need fresh headshots, new website images, content for social media, or want a first taste of what it’s like to work together, this is a straightforward way to do it.

SOME FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

The sessions will take place in the Barbican or Spitalfields.

You’ll pay 50% up front to secure your slot (via my secure booking site) and the rest is due 1 day before the session.

Sometimes life happens. Please see my Mini Sessions Cancellation Policy for full details. It’s all laid out there so you know exactly where you stand if plans change.

Do not worry. I’ll send you a guide as soon as you book, and we’ll also talk through it on the group strategy session. You’ll be supported all the way, so you can turn up feeling confident and ready, not second-guessing your outfit in the car park 🙂

I’ve worked with plenty of people who feel stiff or self-conscious in front of the camera, and none of that shows in the final images. I’ll talk you through everything, keep things moving, and give you direction so you’re not left wondering what to do with your hands. You’ll get photos that look natural and confident, and professional-yet-approachable.

A week after the session – a quick turnaround so you can start using your images while the momentum’s still there.

You can use them across your website, socials, marketing, press – wherever you need them. There are few things that are off-limits for copyright reasons: the main ones being you can’t resell the photos, and you can’t make them publicly available for download.

It’s so much more! Headshots are typically head and shoulders against a plain background, looking at the camera. This is about getting a variety of expressive images – warm, professional headshots, yes, but also photos that communicate different aspects of your brand and personality. You’ll get photos you can use in all kinds of situations and posts, not just the one safe shot to use everywhere (although you’ll get that too).

One or two small props are encouraged – they can really help bring your images in line with your brand. I go into this in the prep guide, so you’ll have plenty of ideas before your session.

Argh, however well-organised I am, sometimes there are just those kinds of days, where the universe conspires to make me late. If this happens to you, you have my full sympathy! However, there’s not much wiggle room in the schedule so it might just mean a shorter session. Give me a heads-up as soon as you can.

You’ll see all the good ones! I’ll have already removed duplicates, blinks, funny facial expressions, less-than flattering angles etc, so what you’re choosing from is the best of the session. It saves you time and means you don’t have to wade through hundreds of near-identical shots.

Modern cameras are super sharp, so I usually add a touch of softening, and I’ll edit out any blemishes that are obviously temporary – spots, that sort of thing. More in-depth retouching can be requested, but it might incur extra charges. I don’t believe in airbrushing – you’ll look like you, just at your most relaxed, confident and vibrant.

I’m an experienced brand photographer shooting for as much variety as possible, so I’m confident you’re going to love the results. But in the unlikely event that that you really don’t like any of them, we’ll work together to find a solution. You won’t be stuck with images you hate.

This session is for individuals. If you’re after a team shoot, please get in touch and we can talk through what that would look like. It’s a different brief, and I’d want to make sure we’ve got the time and set-up to do it properly.

They’re not included in these sessions, to make them as streamlined as possible. I include some makeup tips in my prep guide or feel free to ask for makeup artist recommendations.

Yes. You’ll get high-resolution versions that work for printed materials as well as online.
